I plan to bring a fairly large amount in dollars to Thailand. I want to minimize losses on conversion. Banks offer terrible conditions. Changing cash at the airport is not an option at all. Are there services that give an individual approach to large sums. Please share your experience if you have dealt with this. I really need some advice.

It seems to me you should look at what today's money exchange rate in Thailand specialized services offer, not banks. I exchanged a large sum through Senate Exchange, and the rate was noticeably better. They work officially since 2016, so there is no need to worry about safety. I was offered a convenient option with a transfer to a Thai card. I did not lose a single dollar on commissions. Everything went fast, and the manager was in touch all the time. He helped with the details and answered questions. For large volumes this is a really profitable solution. I recommend considering this option. It saved me a lot of nerves.
