« on: February 15, 2011, 04:06:01 AM »
Metabolic activity refers to a group of chemical reactions that sustain life in any living organism. Metabolic activity which involves the transfer of energy and matter in the body, and two of the elements that must always be present because life goes on. Two types of metabolism and anabolism and demolition. Anabolism metabolism is the building, which is the formation of small molecules to large, which requires an input of energy. Demolition is the opposite process, but requires the production of energy, and break the large molecules in organisms are the smallest ones.Human heterotrophs, which means that human beings depend on the organic molecules that have been addressed to meet the energy needs. Organic molecules are the building blocks that meet the needs of anabolic as well. Metabolic activity begins ingestion, when food is taken into the body. Metabolic enzymes come into play during digestion, when food is broken down in the body through a process called decomposition. During decomposition, starches, sugars, proteins into amino acids and becomes fat and become fatty acids, glycerol, and nucleic acids into nucleotides.
