So I’ve got a 2017 Mini Cooper S and it’s been driving fine around Dubai, but last week I left it parked for just three days while I was traveling to Abu Dhabi, and when I came back it was completely dead. Not even a click. Jumpstarted it and it ran okay for a day, then same thing this morning. I’m pretty sure it’s the original battery still in there, so probably long overdue. Found https://batteryzoneuae.com/mini-cooper-battery-replacement/ while searching last night and it looks like they come to you, which would save me the headache of trying to jump it again and drive somewhere. Has anyone here used a mobile service for a Mini? I’m just worried because these cars have that intelligent battery sensor thing and I don’t want some random guy messing up the electronics. Also any idea if the extreme heat here just kills Mini batteries faster than usual? Would rather hear real experiences before booking anything.
