I'm currently using Odoo 18 with Odoo Support and Maintenance modules enabled. We offer field services where some products (like spare parts or tools) are stocked but not always sold or invoiced directly. I want to ensure these products are still tracked for usage, maintenance, or servicing, even if they haven’t been part of a sales order.
Is there a way in Odoo Field Services to assign or log product maintenance tasks for items not tied to a sale? Would I need to customize a workflow, or is there a setting in Odoo Support services to handle such cases?


Any advice from those who've handled similar workflows would be really helpful!
