Some say no, some say yes. I reckon there are - you've just got to know where to look! Not every company likes to dish out money for overheads such as buildings to place all of their workers, telephones, computers, internet access, etc. They'd rather have their workers work from the comfort of their own home, using their own computer and using their own phone (of course only paying for the actual phone calls made, rather than having to pay for the physical cabling of a telephone network).
They also don't want to run the risk of workers having a day off work to look after sick children, so they'd rather have their workers work from home in their own time while looking after the family - and so would the workers!
And with the cost of fuel these days, who wants to waste money on gas just to go to and from work? Who also wants to waste that time travelling to and from work?
