Post by: zlkkk on December 25, 2017, 01:18:46 AM

When you get a new iPhone and want to restore iCloud backup from your old iPhone to transfer old photos to the new device, here is what you should do.
If you want to restore iPhone from iCloud backup, for any reason, you have to reset your iPhone and erase all data and settings before restoring, according to Apple official site. The downside of this Apple rule is that some data on your iPhone may be mistakenly replaced by backup data and finally lost. So is there any method that we can use to restore iPhone from iCloud without resetting.
Solution1: Get Old Images from iCloud Web Version
Step1: Go to iCloud.com using any web browser
Step2: Log in to your iCloud account using the same Apple ID and password.
Step3: Once logged in, click on “Photos”
Step4. Find the photos you needed by clicking Albums, and then All Photos
Step5. Click on the photo and then click the Download button.
Solution2: Recover Old Photos from iCloud Without Reset Via FoneDog Toolkit- iOS Data Recovery (https://www.fonedog.com/ios-data-recovery/)

If remember iCloud account and password of old photos, just turn to Eelphone Restore From Backup, which will download photos from iCloud to iPhone (https://www.eelphone.com/photos/how-to-download-photos-from-icloud-to-iphone.html) directly, just connect iPhone to the computer, and launch the tool at the same time, then sign in the iCloud account and password, select photos to transfer from iCloud to iPhone.
