The Department of Homeland Security (http://www.immigrationdirect.com/homeland-security.jsp) has set a standard for measuring border security in  the United States to tighten up the issuing of non-immigrant visas to prevent terrorist attacks and other elements that may threathen the country.

Every country government has established a security force for their country's border security that helps to prevent terrorist attacks and other elements that not good for country and country's citizens. Having a tight border security that's very essential for each and every country.
