If you have been thinking about taking your GED or studying for the citizenship test, now may be your time to start.The Adult Literacy Department is enrolling for a Monday night GED class and a new Monday morning U.S. citizenship class to file INS N 400 form (http://www.uscitizenship.info/articles/how-much-is-the-n-400-application-fee/index.html?r=freeadzforum.com-referral).

The GED class, which meets for six months, will begin Jan. 7. Class hours are 6 to 8 p.m. It will cover all areas on the GED test. The last day to enroll in the class is Jan. 28. If you have not passed the test during the six months, you can re-enroll for six more months.The U.S Citizenship Test Preparation class will meet from 11 a.m. to noon Mondays, starting Jan. 28. The last day for enrollment will be Feb. 25. This class will cover the 100 civics questions from the study guide, as well as speaking, reading, and writing English. This class will run for three months, with optional re-enrollment afterward.
