Rolling is a metal forming process in the metal works in which metal is passed through a pair of rolls. Generally there are two types of rolling processes first is hot rolling and other is cold rolling. If the temperature of the metal is above its recrystallization temperature during the rolling process, then this rolling process is called as hot rolling process. If the temperature of the metal is below its recrystallization temperature during the rolling process, then this process is known as cold rolling process.
