Title: I'm dealing with persistent ankle pain
Post by: crowl on December 01, 2024, 07:52:36 AM
Hi there! I've been dealing with some ankle pain for a while now. It's mostly in the lateral part of my ankle, and it gets worse after long walks. I’m not sure if it's something I should just wait out or if I need professional help. Does anyone have experience with this type of pain and how to treat it?

Hey! I totally understand what you’re going through. I had similar issues with lateral ankle pain not long ago, and I decided to visit Gramercy Physical Therapy in Manhattan https://gptny.com/anklefoot (https://gptny.com/anklefoot) . I’m so glad I did! They specialize in ankle pain treatment and offer personalized physical therapy for ankle pain, which was exactly what I needed. They really focused on understanding the root cause of my pain, and their approach is all about restoring mobility and alleviating discomfort. I had a combination of therapies, like soft tissue mobilization and electrical stimulation, which helped reduce the pain. Plus, their exercises helped with both strengthening and stability, which I found really beneficial. They also work with a lot of people dealing with pain on the sides of the ankle, so you’re definitely in the right place if you decide to visit them. I’d definitely recommend it, and hopefully, it can give you the relief you're looking for!
