Over time, the mechanical side of driving becomes more natural and automatic - it's muscle memory. Nevertheless, your brain never stops working so you can do it safely. That's what the theory test is for. It is an intense test, and knowing what to expect is the first step to success. Your theory test involves your understanding of road signs, your ability to spot hazards, and your familiarity with the Rules of the Road. It also assesses your understanding of how to drive safely. You shouldn't be afraid of the theory, you can learn interesting things about the exam here https://www.moneyexpert.com/car-insurance/how-to-pass-your-theory-test/ , don't be nervous, study and you'll succeed if not at the first time but at the second time you will.

I remember my first exam it was just unreal scary, but I will say that the theory is not as scary as the driving test.
