Gugulipid or guggul, is a natural substance derived from the mukul myrrh tree. Mukul myrrh exude a sticky resin that is processed into gugulipid. This extract has been used for thousands of years in medicine to treat obesity and arthritis Aryuvedic. Recently, herbalists started recommending gugulipid not only for these conditions, but low-density lipoprotein (LDL) forms of cholesterol and increase high density lipoprotein (HDL). Herbalists and other practitioners of alternative medicine may also request gugulipid prevent atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries and reduce high levels of triglycerides.Gugulipid been clinically evaluated to support these claims.
