Like price in Magento 2 default, base currency is also set up for the whole website, not for each store or store view. Therefore, no matter which store view customers purchase products, they have to pay with one kind of base currency applied to the website. For a Magento store with multiple store views, it is impossible for you to charge different taxes for a product in each store view because defautl Magento does not support. Therefore, Magento Tax per Store View extension (https://bsscommerce.com/magento-tax-per-store-view.html) is devloped to overcome this drawback of Magento:

- Change Scope of Tax Class attribute into Store View so that admin can set tax of product in each store view

+ Customers buy a watch on English store view and have to pay an additional tax amount with rate of 8.25%:
