Both MBA and M.Com courses focus on the studies of the business world. Both are significant programs and have their own importance. M.Com is a traditional course whereas MBA is a modern-day advanced course in which course of studies focuses on specialization in various fields.

M.Com is a Postgraduate Program which teaches commerce subjects including accounting, banking, finance, statistics, and economics.
MBA is a Master Degree Program equivalent to M.Com. The course of studies comprises marketing, business law, business ethics, business communication, applied statistics, accounting, managerial economics, operation and much more.
Both M.Com and MBA are 2-year prolong course. MBA is considered a general degree focusing on varieties of areas. But most of these subjects don't provide students with in-depth knowledge. M.Com is not as famous as an MBA but is also a respected course. After completion of M.Com, students can apply for a Doctoral program to enter into the research field or can become a professor.
Talking about the fee structure of both programs, the MBA is much more expensive than M.Com. The course fee of MBA is much depended on the institute and the type of MBA you are pursuing. Regular full-time course will cost you much more than a distance MBA program. M.Com is overall an affordable course. Full-time M.Com program is not so pricey and the distance courses are cheaper.
Career after MBA offers a managerial position in an organization. It is primarily depended on the institute and your performance in the program. Candidates passing MBA from Indian Institute of Management are offered with not only managerial position but also attractive salary packages.
