Setting Yourself up for Success
« on: January 23, 2011, 03:43:34 PM »
There are many good businesses both offline and online, but the question needs to be asked - Why do so many fail? And why do so many (In fact the majority of people) fail to even get started? The reason for failure is a multi-faceted issue  All of us with at least an average intelligence are brought into this world with the same potential for greatness, yet very few of us go on to achieve anything near our true potential. There are two questions that most people ask.

1.What is the secret to success and prosperity?
2.Is there a common denominator to success?

The good news is that there is NO secret and the other good news is that there are definite common denominators which ultimately determine your success and prosperity.

There are laws in all of nature, which are irrevocable. They permeate through every atom, every living cell and every organism. They are laws that are guaranteed and unchangeable - they just are! If you see a squirrel in your garden digging a hole in the ground and burying an acorn, you can be 100% sure that if that acorn germinates, an oak tree will grow out of that acorn and it will not be a fern tree.  As it is when you plant a peach pip and it germinates, you can be guaranteed it will grow into a peach tree and not an apple tree. It is a fundamental law of the universe. You cannot escape it. That is the way that life is. It just is. One must simply accept that law. If you upset yourself and carry on trying to grow an apple tree from a peach pip you are surely going to drive yourself to insanity. Similar laws apply to success and prosperity - In fact there are "Ten Commandments" to success and prosperity. If these "laws" or as I prefer them to call them - "Common Denominators" are followed, then success and prosperity is at hand. These common denominators must simply be followed - much like a recipe. It is very difficult not to succeed when you have a recipe and you follow it step by step.

There are a few good books and teachings available but one of the most compelling and masterful books on the subject of success and prosperity must be "The Promise" by author and poet Michael Sage. During a period in the author's life of deep introspection and self discovery, the recipe for success was revealed through poems and a scribbled manuscript. The author made a commitment to turn the poems and the manuscript into a book and "The Promise" was born. The intention of "The Promise" is to help others empower themselves. Whatever you may endeavour to be or to achieve in your life, the steps contained in "The Promise" can assist you in mastering the art of true and lasting success and prosperity.
